The Flood of 09′

As no doubt the entire country has seen the news covering the major flooding we have had in the last couple of days here in Atlanta and surrounding areas, I decided to venture out this morning and get some pictures for the blog. Most of the roads that have been flooded have been barricaded way before you reach the water on the roads making it difficult for pictures. So I went to an area that I had shot an engagement session earlier this year, the Roswell Mill Covered Bridge. I could not believe the amount of water that was now crashing thru what is normally a pretty calm little creek. Nature is amazing and at the same time very scary! The last one is of the Chattahoochee River at a very important road. Notice how close it is from reaching the street! The only time the Hooch crested higher was in 1919. Check these out.
