One of the places that I would love to shoot a wedding at is Cuba. I am Cuban/American, my parents were both from Cuba but I was born in Miami so I have never actually been to the island.

The stories I have heard along with some of the pictures that I have seen online are what is drawing me to this magically beautiful island in the Caribbean. Cuba is just 90 miles south of Key West, Florida. This and the fact that I would love to visit the country where my parents were born and maybe visit the farm where my father grew up is calling me loudly.

One of the most historic places in Cuba is Trinidad de Cuba. It is today almost as it was back when it was founded in December of 1514. Can you image the pictures of a wedding shot there!

Kymber and Eric had a beautiful wedding with about seventy guest right on Port St. Joe beach. The weather was spectacular! It was a little breezy but it worked in our favor as I was able to get some really cool shots with Kymber (she was gorgeous) and her veil flying in the wind, plus it helped in keeping everyone cool. Her flower girl was precious as you can see from the pictures. What a doll! There reception was held at the Sunset Coastal Grill and the food was excellent! I love my job!

On a side note – if you are ever in the Florida panhandle just south of Mexico beach on Indian Pass you have to go to the famous Indian Pass Raw Bar for the best oyster you have ever eaten! The can make them any way you want or just have them the best way – raw!

This will be a fantastic opportunity to get some really cool shots. The wedding will take place on Nygard Cay on Paradise Island. We will also do a fashion style shoot at the beautiful Atlantis Resort. This is going to be GREAT!

Must remember to pack the straw hat and suntan oil!
